Pssh, everyone and their mother would probably pounce if Warnke ever laid down some smack. Poor guy can't win because he gets it whenever he hedges, speaks in earnest about his competition, or if he talks trash.

We'll have to see if AZ can bounce back. If not, laying a beat down have to suffice for trash talk.

True. sounds like an outright conspiracy where multiple people from all sorts of geographical areas conspire against a poor innocent gentlemen. No way he could rub people the wrong way.

Sure. Yet there are many other GMs who do the same yet none of the responses are as vitriolic. My point is that, even in cases where it does not appear that he's being "that way", he's taken as "that way" because he's rubbed people wrong. That and he's had a super successful span so far... people love to take shots at the successful teams unless they are milk drinkers like Jian, Ben, or Tom.

Congrats to the T-Birds for closing out our series in game 7. Through 6 games and 3 quarters we had the lead, then they put the screws to us in the 4th quarter, 30-20 to ultimately take the game (quarter), set (game), and match (series).

Surprisingly close for a 25 to 9 foul discrepancy. We have had this problem all season long, so it's not surprising that our Achille's Heel is what took us down in game 7.

Good luck to Nick, Dom, Tom, and Jian in the conference finals.

Congratulations to both on a compelling series!

Nick, you've got your hands full.

Jason, enjoy the break. There's nothing like the playoffs to expose areas of need for your team but that can wait for a few more weeks before the scheming to improve gets started in earnest.
