3 point win away against the Inferno. We're now on a 5 game win streak and have our next 4 at home against some big teams.

Swerve dominated Richard Hardee, Hardee ended with just 1 rebound and some chump change to his name compared to Swerve's 19 rebounds and 10 blocks.

We've now won 6 of 7 games and sit just 4.5 games away from the playoffs with just 9 home games remaining and the bulk of oir matchups being against top notch ball clubs.

SeaDogs and Dragoons currently at 16 wins each. Tragic.

I think it was to be expected.
Both lost superstar players to FA...you just don't go out a replace a Drumm or Montes and if you lose a Drumm or Montes you cannot hope to be as good.

What would my team be like without Teeters? What would your team have looked like if Dong had left?

IDK but I can share a treatment for a new logo that was submitted for league approval. It was a mock up for a proposed change to the SunKings logo that would have been made had Dong left...

I think even without Dong, we would be above 20 wins so far, but yes, it would have been a big hit.

I just think it's really sad to see franchises that have been powerhouses for years, especially the Salthounds, sink into insignificance.

Honestly, if the league is active, it's natural for teams to fall into obscurity. Eventually, star players degrade, leave, or what have you. With time, every team has some "down seasons"...

In the NBA...
Celtics had down years... 29 wins in '78 just before drafting Bird... 15 wins in '97...
Lakers too from the two decades of dominance to the 27 and fewer win team we see today...
Spurs had the 96-97 season just prior to drafting Duncan...

In the OBA...
Steam had to rebuild after the Young years...
Prowlers rebuilt more than a few times...
Executioners reloaded a few times under JF and then fell on hard times that last season...
Bluewater also had strong seasons only to fall on hard times with age and defection...

I don't think it's any knock on the SeaDogs that they are bad this year so IDK how "sad" it is really... it happens. That can certainly happen when an all league guard leaves via FA and your teams gets riddled with injury.
