I get a shooter to play behind Heath and Klaus gets something back for a guy he wasn't going to re-sign

Simple as that

I always love to see the "Who cares" option pop up. But in this deal, both win.

I voted Demons only because if I were Tom I wouldn't mess with a single thing.

That said, he knows his team better than I do.

I've had a soft spot for Milner since I drafted him all those years ago. He's pretty much been "as advertized" on his career. Willing shooter, rebound capable, ast capable, wild with the ball, and pedestrian D. His 53.7% career TS and 44% from three this year are nice though. Remember last season when Teeters broke and an "instant offense" scorer go them through their series with the Blackjacks (granted, D-Baum broke too)? Yeah, now he has TWO of those instant offense guys.

Maybe Klaus can breathe some life into the careers of the guys he got but not likley since they look like the 3rd option compared to what he's got. So it's basically Milner for a second and I kind of hate Tom's guts for getting Milner for a second round pick (even if it's high enough to be basically a late first).

Tritons win and I hope Milner gets trenchfoot in a Tampa swamp and can't play. So help me Tom, if he does get an injury, I'm editing it to say "Swamp Foot."

I wasn't sure about trying to bring back Milner next FA. And my year is down the drain already, so I thought, what the heck. Tom's guys were merely salary compensation. For me it all comes down to put my 14 million to good use come next FA. I won't get a star for that kind of money, but I am hoping I can get two or three good players to help me avoid another season like this one.

I like it for Tampa. Tom's not really giving up anyone who plays a significant role in his rotation, and the last pick in the draft. Sure, Millner may throw things off, but if he does, it's not too hard for Tom just inactivate him, and be back in the same spot he was already in. If it does work out, it's another instant offense weapon for the Tritons.

I can see it. You have Daily too (expiring) and a commitment to Goforth (though at 2-ish, it's a minor commitment) who is untested as a starter... so Milner was basically another part of a three headed monster.

Hopefully, that pick turns into that a sleeper player that falls down there every season and you snap him up.
