I still think that landing the #12 would have been best for the franchise... cheap labor on a longer contract.

I would have at least waited until the draft list was out.

That said, I like the pickup of Bouchard. But where is he earmarked for? PG to displace Howse who just got exteded? Or is it to be a 6'1" SG?

Yeah, Inferno are clearing the decks and the #12 will be a nice piece to have if I'm looking at things right.

Don't get this for the Snipers. Why give away a #12 pick for a guy like Bouchard, that has proven that he is not good at PG and even too slow and little for SG?

Nice deal for Sascha!

We would have traded expiring and a future first round pick (Indiana 2025) for Bouchard, which is what we alluded to on Slack. I like the defensive versatility in the backcourt, despite the speed issues Bouchard faces as a PG. His shooting issues look like they can be addressed by having 3 other volume shooters on a team, so that would not be worrisome to me. The fact he fouls so little is an extra bonus and we were short of salivating over the prospect of having a Bouchard/Hayward sharing a lot of the minutes at the 1/2 - both of whom foul very little.

Inferno are moving in a direction where they are building 100% through the draft. I love what they are doing as well. The fact that they get #12 instead of what would have been an unknown future pick from us was a great, great move.

I voted EVEN, with a slight edge to Inferno.

Because, despite all that, he was first team all defense?

By playing 21 minutes a game. The software just crazily overvalues fouls commited.

Eric - Archers GM
Because that's part of playing "good defense"... if you get steals but commit 5 fouls per 36, you're probably not a very good defender.

Other than ratio numbers (blk/pf, stl/pf), what numbers can a computer program use to calculate all defense.

There's something to be said about def% and not giving points away via fouls.
