OFF SEASON: ROOKIE DRAFT POLL AND INITIAL TRANSACTIONS

Postby Eric - Archers GM » Wed Jan 09, 2019 1:00 am

Now that staff hiring is complete, we're on to the Rookie Draft. The draft list has been updated with this year's rookie class.

Please cast your vote for the date that works best for you. Tentatively, we're looking at 01/19 or 01/20 as the live event date. We're going to do an AM start... likely around 11 am or noon eastern. VOTING CLOSES ON FRIDAY after which time I'll formally announce the draft date. You only get one vote in the poll... make it count.

Jay Amado will be doing the rookie preview this season.

If you cannot attend on the date that is announced, you must send me a draft list. Draft lists must be explicit and contain no judgement calls. They must contain selections up to your pick. Failure to do this will result in a penalty pick (10th best player at the time of selection).

I'll run a transaction round before the draft. Date TBA later.

Inferno Trade SG David Bouchard to the Snipers
Snipers Trade 2024 Snipers 1st Round draft pick to the Inferno

Highly unlikely we can make the draft as I will be in Boston kid-free. I voted Sunday since we might be in the car by then so I may be able to get on Slack to follow along. That said if it’s close, don’t go off my vote.

I enabled re-voting on the poll as it appears that this weekend is a possibility.

You can vote twice in the poll but please only vote for one date each weekend.

If it's this weekend, I can't be there, nor will there be a draft article, unless somebody else wants to take it up.

I changed my vote after seeing your guy's posts, plus I need guidance from Jay's mock draft. I expect 20 bucks from each of you. ;)
